Commercial aquatic construction is highly variable, but the bands we routinely deliver are a useful anchor: from about $500K for a standalone commercial vessel, $2–5M for a high-rise podium or rooftop pool, and $7–9M for a municipal aquatic centre with competition and secondary vessels. What moves the number is structural complexity (ground-level versus a 40th-floor transfer slab), geotechnical conditions, plant sizing for bather load, compliance overlay such as DDA or heritage, and finish specification. Below that threshold our crew and plant configuration does not calibrate economically, and you would be paying for commercial overhead on a job that does not need it. We are a Master Builders Queensland member. Licence, insurance certificates and a capability statement are supplied to procurement teams on request, typically within the same business day.

We acknowledge a commercial brief within 24 hours. A fully engineered, tailored quote takes approximately 7 to 14 days from receipt of architectural plans, because commercial tenders require structural, hydraulic and compliance work before a defensible number exists. If you are working to a tender close date, say so in the brief and we will confirm whether we can meet it before you rely on us.

Yes. We manage the compliance and approval pathway end to end, from initial engineering schematics through to final municipal sign-off, and we lodge each build with the relevant local government area. No. Wahoo Pool Aquatics builds exclusively for commercial, municipal, developer, hotel, education and institutional clients. Our supply chain, crew, plant and method statements are calibrated for that scale and do not adapt downward economically. If you are building a standard backyard pool we will point you to a dedicated residential builder. Complex architect-led estate vessels — cantilevered glass-edge, 25m private lap pools — are the one exception and are quoted on the same commercial engineering basis.
