Four constraints dominate. Structural: transfer-slab loading and lateral wind shear at height, which is why the design starts with structural modelling rather than a shape. Acoustic: plant-room vibration must be isolated from the tenancy below, usually with neoprene and epoxy isolation detailing. Waterproofing: a failure over occupied floors is catastrophic, so membranes are fully bonded and commercial-rated rather than domestic. Logistics: every cubic metre of concrete and every plant item is a crane movement inside someone else's programme. We have delivered rooftop vessels on towers above 30 storeys.

Extreme dimensional accuracy above everything else. A competition 50m vessel must hold 50.020m at the waterline to a tolerance measured in millimetres, sustained after tiling and through seasonal thermal movement, which is precision well beyond ordinary construction tolerance. It also needs anti-turbulence wet-deck overflow so outside lanes are not disadvantaged, mounting provision for movable bulkheads if the pool is to be split into short-course, floor-inlet hydraulics for uniform temperature, and touch-pad integration. We have delivered a municipal 50m eight-lane vessel that audited at 50.017m.

Yes. Hydrotherapy vessels are one of our specialisms and carry three constraints simultaneously: DDA-compliant access, clinical temperature tolerance held tightly around 34°C, and health-department audit standards. We have delivered vessels holding ±0.2°C across a full 12-month defects liability period, using an independent titanium heat-exchanger loop rather than sharing thermal duty with a main pool. Allied health providers, rehabilitation facilities and aged-care operators are a regular client segment.
