Wahoo Pool Aquatics was founded on decades of heavy civil construction experience to close the gap between architectural vision and hydraulic reality in the commercial sector — a gap that has cost developers and councils millions in rework, closure, and compliance penalties.
Municipal and developer-led aquatic projects were consistently failing because residential contractors were attempting commercial scales without the structural, hydraulic, or compliance rigour the sector demands.
So we built a firm exclusively focused on Tier-1 structural engineering, competition-level dimensional accuracy, and municipal-grade compliance. No residential jobs. No price-first quotes. No compromise on method.

What insurance does Wahoo Pool Aquatics carry?
Public liability cover of $20 million and above, which is the level commercial, municipal and high-rise sites typically require in their prequalification. Certificates of currency are issued to procurement teams on request, usually the same business day, alongside our current QBCC licence and capability statement. For NSW projects we hold cover appropriate to that jurisdiction separately from the Queensland policy.
Do you build residential backyard pools?
No. Wahoo Pool Aquatics builds exclusively for commercial, municipal, developer, hotel, education and institutional clients. Our supply chain, crew, plant and method statements are calibrated for that scale and do not adapt downward economically. If you are building a standard backyard pool we will point you to a dedicated residential builder. Complex architect-led estate vessels — cantilevered glass-edge, 25m private lap pools — are the one exception and are quoted on the same commercial engineering basis.
