About our service scope.
Do you build residential backyard pools?
No. Wahoo Pool Aquatics builds exclusively for commercial, municipal, developer, hotel, education and institutional clients. Our supply chain, crew, plant and method statements are calibrated for that scale and do not adapt downward economically. If you are building a standard backyard pool we will point you to a dedicated residential builder. Complex architect-led estate vessels — cantilevered glass-edge, 25m private lap pools — are the one exception and are quoted on the same commercial engineering basis.
What is your minimum project size?
Commercial engagements from about $500K upwards. Below that threshold our crew and plant configuration does not calibrate economically, and you would be paying for commercial overhead on a job that does not need it. If your project sits under that figure we will say so in the first call rather than submit a quote that does not serve you.
What areas of Australia does Wahoo Pool Aquatics service?
All of Queensland and regional New South Wales. In Queensland that covers South East Queensland (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton Bay, Redland Bay), the Darling Downs and Toowoomba, Wide Bay–Burnett including Hervey Bay and Bundaberg, Central Queensland through Rockhampton and Gladstone, North Queensland through Mackay and Townsville, and Far North Queensland around Cairns. In New South Wales we work the Northern Rivers (Byron Bay, Ballina, Lismore, Tweed Coast), the Mid North Coast (Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie), the Hunter and Newcastle, the Central Coast and the Illawarra and Wollongong. We do not trade in the Sydney metropolitan area.
Do you repair or remediate an existing commercial pool?
Yes. Targeted engineering services — structural waterproofing diagnostics and application, water-treatment and plant-room upgrades, and structural assessment and remediation — are available for legacy commercial assets that need intervention rather than full reconstruction. We are regularly engaged by operators, insurers and new owners who have inherited a failing vessel, and we will tell you honestly whether remediation or replacement is the better economic answer.
